Shotgun Start for The Grove in 2012

What is it that makes a corporate golf day truly memorable for you? Is it the sweeping fairways? The first-class staff who look after you from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave? The Grove, in association with Worldwide Hole ‘N One, has added something truly unique to all of the Grove corporate golf experience shotgun days. Almost every shotgun event will offer golfers the chance to win an Audi car as part of their very own bespoke hole-in-one prize package. This amazing feature prize will be placed on the stunning par-3 signature 4th hole, which plays a modest 167 yards over water.

Worldwide Hole ‘N One has worked to provide a bespoke package that offers an amazing marketing opportunity to local car dealership Watford Audi, Part of the Spire Automotive Group.

Sarah Norton, of Group Marketing, already has a strong and successful business relationship with The Grove whose demographic lends itself perfectly to the Audi brand so this seemed like a natural progression.

The history of the first house at The Grove dates back to the 1500s. In 2004 with the help of English Heritage, landscape gardeners and golfers, the new Grove, with its stunning golf course, emerged.

It was just 2 years later that Tiger Woods won the World Championship at The Grove. We are proud to be part of this new piece of history in helping to create a championship tournament feel to every corporate golf day played this year at The Grove.
