Saturday 16th June was no ordinary day at Lilley Brook Golf Club this year.

The Lilley Brook Golf Club had hole in one prizes on four different holes that day, but most importantly at Hole 11 there was a set of brand new Cobra Irons up for grabs to anyone lucky enough to nail an ace! Firstly, lady luck shined down in Gloucestershire as Kevin Fox stepped up and hit a sweet 150 yard tee shot straight into the hole! Celebrations had barely ended before another roar went up – Brian Edwards in the group behind had repeated the feat much to the delight of all watching!

Kevin was playing with the Course Manager – Nigel Thompson, who is a past captain of the Gloucestershire Golf Union who plays off scratch. Brian was playing in the following group and after his ace Nigel took the picture of them both on the green. Kevin plays off 6 and has been a member for 3 years and Brian plays off 15 and has been a member for 20 years.

A huge congratulations to both Kevin & Brian, enjoy those new clubs and we look forward to hearing some more success at the Captain’s day next year!
